Kung Akoy Iiwan Mo
This story is based on oft-told tales about the disruption of the family lives of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) from the pressures of loneliness, familial demands and divided loyalties; but the depiction is fresh, sympathetic and unusual. Paulino "Paul" Raymundo (Jake Cuenca) and his wife, Sarah Trinidad-Raymundo (Shaina Magdayao), are OFWs whose ambitions of achieving their dreams through higher-paying jobs abroad are fueled by the aspirations of their individual sets of parents who themselves experienced emotional and physical hardships in their own pursuit of a better life. The pressures of their jobs have affected their relationship when a third party from out of Paul's past enters the picture. What would have been the typical love triangle, with a hateful third party drawing the ire of the viewers becomes more complicated as the "third angle," Mia Pedroso (Bangs Garcia), portrays her role as someone truly in love with Paul, has not stopped loving him in fact, and is not the usual sex/money-hungry marriage-breaker depicted in OFW anecdotes. Will Paul and Sarah's marriage survive? Will Sarah sacrifice her married life if she feels he is happier with Mia? Will Mia give up Paul? How are their respective families affected? Whom will Paul choose? All these questions will play out as the series has been extended.
