Maalala Mo Kaya - All its weekly episodes have been culled from true-to-life stories sent through the mail by people from all walks of life and from all over the country and the world; and with the opening of the MMK website, many more stories are shared through the internet on their iKwento page. Subjects and themes range from triumph over almost insurmountable adversity, forgiveness of grave offenses and acceptance of differences, childhood trauma to young love, bittersweet regrets and heady victories, gender issues and violence against women and children, to revelations of long-hidden secrets. Even movie stars have shared their memories of past pain and hardship. There is always a lesson to be learned and inspiration to be gained at the end of each episode.It is the heavy drama, however, which has made MMK an institution among actors.
