On January 30, 2012, ABS-CBN aired a teaser revealing a reformatted noontime variety show retaining Showtime's brand of entertainment energized by spontaneity and animated conversations generating popular catchphrases and gimmicks, with new segments and promised surprises; with an expanded name, It's Showtime. The new and improved noontime variety show premiered on February 6, 2012 and continues to entertain its televiewers with its dynamic programming.
