Walang Hanggan ("Forever" or "Eternal") is a story of star-crossed love spanning three generations (loosely based on the book Wuthering Heights by Charlotte Bronte), and traces the consequences of thwarted true love. From the willing sacrifice of Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces), when she turned her back on marriage with her beloved John Montenegro (Eddie Gutierrez), to make way for her dear sister, Margaret (Helen Gamboa), to marry him instead, to the violent intervention in the third generation by Nathan (Paulo Avelino) which caused the separation of Daniel (Coco Martin) and Katerina (Julia Montes).
