PNoy Dating Grace Lee?

MANILA, Philippines -- Did President Benigno Aquino III go on a date with Korean TV personality Grace Lee on Wednesday night?

If some posts on the microblogging site, Twitter, are correct, Aquino's love life may have gone from zero to light.

The news was first shared by the controversial Mo Twister, currently in the United States, who tweeted: "we are talking about Grace Lee's date last night with President Aquino. #itsmorefuninthephilippines"

A certain Adrian Abella tweeted Mo Twister, "just asked Grace Lee if it's true that she had dinner with President Aquino. She said she did."

Other netizens then chimed in and gave their comments -- mostly of disbelief -- on the supposed date.

Asked about the date on Thursday, Presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda said, “We do not comment on private matters of the President. So we cannot comment on that. You can ask me every time but you know our position on that matter.”

The bachelor President first met Lee in June last year during the inauguration of the Korea Electric Power Corp. power plant in Cebu, where Lee was a co-host.

"Sa kada bisita nako dinhi sa Cebu, mas daghan gwapa, apil si Governor Gwen (Mas dumarami ang magaganda dito sa Cebu, kasama na si Governor Gwen)," Aquno said in his speech during that event.

"Kaya pag inimbita ho ako sa Cebu, hindi ho talaga mahirap maimbita rito. Pati ang bisita nating si Miss Grace Lee, kala ko tuloy Pinay e. Hindi nga pala, Korean. Pero pati yung mga Korean na dumarating talagang gwapa lahat. Kailangan yatang buhayin ang Malacanang [sa] Sugbu. Baka dito na rin tayo magkatuluyan," he said.

Aquino is said to be lucky during the Year of the Water Dragon, especially in the love department

"This year, he will have a love life if he is willing to get married... The First Lady is coming out," feng shui expert Joseph Chau Kam Shin said earlier this month.

The President's past dates include celebrity stylist Liz Uy and stockbroker Len Lopez. He has also been linked to Bais City Mayor Karen Villanueva, actress Iza Calzado and Sabrina Chua of Singapore-based Channel News Asia.

His former girlfriend Valenzuela City councilor Shalani Soledad married Pasig City Rep. Roman Romulo last Sunday.
